Choose the portrait job

A collection, a restyle, or a commission?

Start with what you want to receive at the end.

02

One-photo restyle

Best when: One snapshot already has the pose and you only want that frame changed.

You receive: A variation of the one image you supplied.

03

Commissioned portrait

Best when: You want a human artist's interpretation or a physical object.

You receive: The digital or printed work that artist offers.

Portrait or profile picture?

Make the portrait first. Decide where it fits second.

CatAI makes full portraits, not avatar-sized crops. Download one and crop it yourself if you want a profile picture.

Use CatAI when

You want the whole scene.

The suit, throne, room, and expression are the point. Keep the portrait as delivered, or crop a copy yourself.

Use an avatar maker when

The tiny crop is the product.

Choose a dedicated tool when you need exact square or circular framing, a transparent background, editable accessories, or a predictable icon-sized face.

Two portrait packs

Corporate Cat or Royal Court.

These two packs are backed by real photos of the example cat. Other looks are illustrative.

FAQ

Cat portrait questions.

Can I use a CatAI portrait as my cat's profile picture or avatar?

Yes. Download a finished portrait and crop it for a profile. CatAI makes full portraits, not avatar-sized crops, so check the full image before using it small.

Are these cat portraits digital or printed?

Digital only. Finished photos collect in your CatAI gallery to keep and download. We don't print, frame, or ship physical products.

Why does CatAI ask for 10–20 photos?

A few angles, expressions, and lighting conditions help CatAI learn your cat's face and markings before you choose a pack. The source-photo guide shows what to include.

Do I need to write prompts?

No. Choose a pack like Corporate Cat or Royal Court, and CatAI handles the rest. You make photos one at a time.

Will every portrait look exactly like my cat?

Likeness can vary from one photo to the next. A varied photo set helps CatAI learn your cat.

What happens after I sign in?

You pick up at your next step: add a cat, upload 10–20 photos, train, or choose a pack and make photos. Training and generation take a little time.

What does Starter include?

Starter is $19/month or $99/year. Training for one cat is included with 50 credits each month. Standard photos use 2 credits, so that is 25 standard photos across the available packs.
