Fine Art Portrait

Fine art portraits of your cat.

Fine Art Portrait gives your cat a simple studio setting and carefully shaped light. A dark background and a warm edge on the fur draw attention to the face, making this a useful choice when you want the cat itself to carry the picture.

Starter $19/month or $99/year

Training included. 50 credits each month. One standard photo uses 2 credits.

Start with Fine Art Portrait

Start with 10–20 photos of one cat. Digital photos only; exact scenes and likeness can vary.

The look

Inside Fine Art Portrait

These details shape the pack. Each photo is a new take on the scene.

Light shaped around the face

The pack uses Rembrandt-style lighting: a directional studio light with shadow across part of the face. That contrast is the main source of drama in this look.

A dark, spare background

A subdued backdrop keeps attention on the cat's eyes, muzzle and fur. There is no elaborate room or busy collection of props competing with the portrait.

Warm light along the fur

A gold-toned edge light is part of the scene direction. Paired with a photographic portrait style, it gives the fur shape against the darker setting.

From your camera roll

Bring your cat into the scene.

  1. Upload your cat

Sign in and add 10–20 clear, varied photos of one cat. Include the face, both sides, and a few full-body views.

  2. Train once

Choose Starter, then start training so CatAI can learn your cat. Training is included and uses no photo credits.

  3. Make a photo

When your cat is ready, make one Fine Art Portrait photo for 2 credits. Review it in your gallery, then keep and download the ones you like.

Gillie, the example cat.

We trained CatAI with 12 photos of Gillie. Here is one source photo beside a selected Royal Court result from that run.

This shows the process in Royal Court. The Fine Art Portrait image above illustrates that pack’s look.

Before you start

A few useful answers.

Is Fine Art Portrait a hand-painted commission?

It creates AI still photos with classical studio lighting. You receive digital downloads, with no hand-painted artwork, frame or physical delivery included.

Should I upload photos with dramatic shadows?

Clear, evenly lit source photos are a better starting point. Let the pack add the shadows; uploads with half the face hidden in darkness give CatAI less visible detail to learn from.

Does this look include a crown or royal outfit?

Fine Art Portrait focuses on your cat's face and fur in a studio setting. If you want a throne, cape and crown as part of the scene, choose Royal Court from the related looks below.
